La Voz del Punto is the story of Florida's Spanish speaking girls and women as told in stitches. Florida Craftsmen will provide 12 x 12 inch square pieces of fabric and request that they be returned with a stitched symbol, phrase, icon, picture, or any other visual representation that reflects the contributor as an immigrant woman. To fully translate the rich diversity, the contributor is encouraged to engage in the stitches that are most traditional to their culture. These squares represent not the cultural differences but the thread that unites them.
