Dragon Boat Race June 11th Saturday June 10, 2005

It's time for the annual dragon boat race again! Last year's event,was so popular among the participants that we expect a bigger turn-out this year.

The rowing rally will take place on a 3km-long waterway in suburban Qingpu District on Saturday June 11.

Coaching and warm-up practice will be followed by a race among teams formed on spot. Each dragon boat carries 20 paddlers.

Sign-up fee: 150 yuan(100 yuan for non-paddlers)Lunch and transportation included
Registration: Applicants should sign up before June 8. You can sign up at Wednesday Night Mixer at Malones OR Saturday Coffee Meeting at Starbucks OR at iMandarin office at Rm 721, Shanghai Center

7:45-8:00 AM Meet and depart from Shanghai Center at 1376 Nanjing Road West.
8:00-9:00 Set up teams and select captains on route
9:40-10:40 Warm up exercise led by intructors
10:40-11:10 Competition
11:10-11:20 Award ceremony
11:20-12:00 Shower and Lunch
13:00 Return
