Dr. Astronaut: Rock and Roll Superstar is the tale of Freddie, a kid who gets no respect. Freddie knows he's anything but ordinary: he's brilliant, hilarious, and stunningly attractive. Why doesn't anybody else seem to notice that? Freddie's fantasy alter-ego, Dr. Astronaut, on the other hand, has it all. He's a heroic doctor, a daring astronaut, and a rock star to boot. Together he and his assistant, Krall, are locked in an eternal battle against Evil Space Emperor Kevin, a supervillain with a penchant for... smooth jazz! Yuck! Are Dr. Astronaut's deeds of derring-do enough to save the world from the easy listening shenanigans of the Evil Emperor? When Freddie can finally tolerate the disregard of his peers and incompetence of his parents no longer, Freddie embarks on a quest to transfer his Dr.Astronaut: Rock and Roll Superstar persona into the real world. Will Freddie be able to prove once and for all that he is Dr. Astronaut, or will he fade into oblivion like so many ordinary people?
