Downtown San Mateo Association's "Third Thursdays" January 15, 2009

The Downtown San Mateo Association is proud to announce a brand new monthly series that will cement San Mateo's place on the map as a regular destination.

"Third Thursdays", the brainchild of Play N Trade owner Misty Megia, will kick off on January 15th from 5 pm - 8pm along B Street in downtown San Mateo. The evening will showcase an eclectic group of businesses, specifically highlighting several local and international artists. The evening will conclude with an artists' reception at B Street and Vine from 7-8 pm.

Downtown San Mateo offers over 130 restaurants, acessible transportation from Caltrain and SamTrans, ample parking, Century Movie Theaters, Central Park and hundreds of retailers, stores and services.

The creation of "Third Thursdays" was designed to draw attention to the vibrancy of the growing Downtown San Mateo, highlighting the rich culture and entertainment of the city.
