Downtown Elgin Car and AFV Show September 6, 2008

The show is located in the Civic Center parking lot at the corner of Highland and Douglas in downtown Elgin. Over 300 Illinois car clubs have been invited to participate. RSVPs are a necessity. The 2008 Midwest AFV Expo
This “show-within-a-show” will highlight the new, alternative fuel technology. Visitors will see vehicles that run on batteries (electrics), hybrid technology, biodiesel, veggie oil, natural gas, e-85, propane, and human energy (aka: pedal power).

VISITORS: Thousands of visitors will pass through the show. With 3 events going on in the downtown area all within walking distance, there will be lots for families to do.
In addition to our car show:
1. The annual Downtown Neighborhood Association Family Carnival
2. The Boys and Girls Club of Elgin’s Duck-a-Palooza Music Fest in Festival Park
