Downriver – UNC Process Series November 19, 2009

When 88 year old bluesman Lemonhead Harris escapes his flooded home on an inflatable mattress, he rides the swollen Mississippi down through the Delta and into his inglorious past, a journey into the heart of the blues. Screenplay written by Dana Coen.

Now in its second season, the UNC Process Series gives performing artists the opportunity to develop and stage unfinished works, to gain from directorial and audience feedback as the work develops. All performances in The Process Series are general admission and are free and open to the public. All performances take place in Gerrard Hall on Cameron Avenue. (919) 843-7067.
