UPCOMING ART OPENING:

FRIDAY JANUARY 15TH:

"DOWN" is an exhibition showcasing a community of young artists who actively create their own culture; it is this zeitgeitian meme that ties these artists together, and this group's essence is why they are committed to exposing to the San Francisco arts community in this show.
Featuring sculpture, video, drawing, painting, digital painting, photography, collage, and sounds from local artists Frank Agrama, Natasha Agrama, Alex Heilbron, Homero Hidalgo, Peter Hurley, Chris Lux, Mark McKnight, Shemoel Recalde, Zach Skipko, Calvin Trezise, Matt Weikel, Eric Wilson, and Kurtis Wilson.

Opening reception Friday, January 15th 6-11pm
On display through Jan 30th.

Curated by Natasha Agrama and Alex Heilbron.
Alex and Natasha have been collaborating since 2007 and have expanded the boundaries of their own personal limits and expectations through social sculpture, sculpture, drawing, painting, photography, and video. Although they have very different private practices, they find common ground in projects in which they can open up a platform for themselves and others to explore the collaborative process to create a cohesive expression.
