"As a true pioneer of Chinese rock, Dou Wei was the lead singer of band Black Panther, which influenced a whole generation of musicians. These days he has moved from rock to alternative to new-age music, playing with Beijing-based new music group Buyiding (Not Sure Yet). Playing around with all kinds of musical instruments, from traditional to modern, Dou Wei and Buyiding are hardly show ponies - they don't usually talk to the crowd at all.
