Doodleganza: the Drawing Extravaganza January 5, 2010

The MCA continues its whimsical, hands-on art gathering that is not really an art class and not quite a party at Doodleganza: The Drawing Extravaganza. Taking place during Tuesday Evenings in the Cafe, this playful gathering of art-making games and exercises led by different Chicago-based artists is for the untrained and the skilled alike. Januarys featured artist, Ezra Claytan Daniels, returns for his final Doodleganza appearance of the season. Daniels is a writer and illustrator of critically acclaimed graphic novels, collaborative multi-media projects, and a line of fill-in-the-blanks comic-art greeting cards. Supplies are provided for Doodleganza participants. Doodleganza: The Drawing Extravaganza takes place in Pucks Cafe, with a cash bar and light fair available for purchase. Every Tuesday, the MCA is free all day and open until 8 pm.
