CHILDREN’S TALENT DEVELOPMENT FUND INC. Is pleased to announce the world premiere production of the new musical DON’T WORRY, BE JEWISH, concept and book by Mark Kleyner, music and lyrics by Alexander Butov and Brian Star, translations by Julia Burke, directed by Mark Kleyner. DON’T WORRY, BE JEWISH will play a 4-week limited engagement at Off-Broadway’s newly renovated Promise Theatre (316 East 91st St.). Performances begin Saturday, May 10 and continue through Wednesday, June 4. Opening Night is Sunday, May 11 (5 p.m.).
We follow the lives of thirteen-year-old Chaim and twelve year old Sharianna and their encounters with the Good and the Evil of the modern day’s reality. Through this exciting journey, Chaim and Sharianna must discover what it means to be Jewish, and they must decide which path they’ll take in their life. With humor and music, Don’t Worry, Be Jewish is sure to entertain families and children of all ages.

The production has two rotating casts, starring Lawrence Benin, Kristina Biddle, Alexa Burger, Lauren Dennis, Justin Hall, Tyler Hall, Natalya Khmaryuk, Nathan Knakhaanovic, Elina Kolmanosvskaya, Elan Kvitko, Simona Meynekhdrun, Jasmine Petraru, Kailand Novak, and Mitchell Sapoff.
DON’T WORRY, BE JEWISH plays the following regular schedule through Wednesday, June 4:
Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
Saturdays at 12 p.m.
Saturdays at 3 p.m.
Sundays at 5 p.m.
