Overflowing inbox. Margarita withdrawal. No more socks, no more underwear. A freezer-burned burrito and "Dancing with the Stars."

Mondays are a real bitch, aren't they?

Thankfully, PianoFight's Monday Night ForePlays is here to doctor your Monday malaise, returning this Fall with a brand-new female-driven sketch comedy show: "Don't Tell Mom the Weekend's Dead!" Some sketches you'll see; bison pan-sexuality, a vinyl-brassiered pop group giving financial advice, gamete on gamete romance in fertilization, and a special appearance from 90's teen book club favorite, The Babysitter's Club. If that's not a recipe for weekend sustainability, we don't know what is!

As a variety show, ForePlays provides a platform for local female writers, actors, musicians and stand-up comedians in the Bay Area. "Don't Tell Mom the Weekend's Dead!" will feature comedians Caitlin Gil, Natasha Muse, Kelly McCarron, Liz Grant, and Lilibeth Helson, along with music from Miranda Jones, Mal Blum, Jena McRae, Zoe Boekbinder and TOAST.

ForePlays is produced by Ruth Grossinger, Nicole Hammersla, Kate Jones, Jessica Mele, Emma Rose Shelton, Meredith Terry and Rachel Rockwood. Joining them as writers and directors are Brady Brophy-Hilton, Christy Crowley, Renee LeVasque, Sara Staley and Sarah Wright-Schreiberg. Rounding out the cast are actors Rich Egan, Rachel Ferensowicz, Jed Rapp Goldstein, David Levine and Joseph Cornelius Scheppers.

Tickets are $20 at the door and will be available online at http://pianofight.com/shows/. Visit ForePlays on Facebook to learn about special discounts on tickets (http://www.facebook.com/MondayNightForePlays). Also, a select amount of VIP tickets (which include the best seating in the house and special ForePlays gifts) will be available for $30. Get your tickets soon, and keep the weekend alive!
