Don´t Shelest (Berlin) March 21, 2007

Shelest has its roots in Polish crossover-Punk and the playfully
improvisational Yass-Movement in Poland of the nineties. The three
musicians from Poland have lived in Berlin since the late eighties,
and the Trio “Don’t Shelest” exists since 1997. But nevertheless
Don’t Shelest is by all means a Berliner band too, with all it’s
rough edges, with it’s charm as well as smut. 1998 The first ever
“Don’t Shelest” concert. 1999 .. 2001 “Don’t Shelest feat. Karton-
productions” a performance-oriented and multinational cooperation
including painters, actors, musicians, VJs and authors, with a grand
total of more than 30 events all over Berlin.
