Facing History and Ourselves and The Allstate Foundation welcome Don Cheadle, star of the acclaimed films Hotel Rwanda and Crash, and John Prendergast, human rights activist and senior advisor at the International Crisis Group to speak about their highly anticipated book, Not on Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Darfur and Beyond. Not on Our Watch is a manual for citizen action that offers a comprehensive history of the struggle in Darfur, as well as the dual narratives of how the authors became involved in this cause.

Cheadle and Prendergast will speak about the genocide in Darfur as well as other mounting humanitarian crises throughout the world, and discuss what can be done to help put an end to these tragedies.

This is a free, ticketed event. To reserve tickets, please visit facinghistory.org/allstate or call 216.321.9220.
