Domestic Violence and Addiction will be presented by David Garvin, MSW; supervisor, Alternatives to Domestic Aggression program of Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County; and Theresa Murphy, MSW; family therapist, Dawn Farm Daybreak adolescent program. This workshop will discuss the relationship between addiction and domestic violence, focusing on the batterer. People with a personal or professional interest in domestic violence and chemical dependency issues are welcome to attend. This workshop is part of the Dawn Farm Education Series. All programs are free and open to anyone interested. Registration is not required. The Education Series is organized by Dawn Farm, a non-profit community of programs providing a continuum of chemical dependency services.
