As the holidays quickly approach, weather experts predict heavy snow flurries in Miami’s Dolphin Mall beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. and continuing into the new year. For the seventh year in a row, Dolphin Mall’s Magical Snowfall will take place in the Ramblas Plaza. In addition to the daily 7 p.m. snowfall, snow will fill the air at 9 p.m. as well every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until January 3, 2010. There will be no snow on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 26), Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), Christmas Day (Dec. 25) or New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31).
In true Dolphin Mall holiday tradition, magical wands will be distributed every night to children under 12 years of age when their parents sign up to receive the Dolphin Mall e-bulletin. At the strike of 7 p.m., the children will wave their wands in the air and cause the snow to return to the mall while illuminating the sky with a warm holiday glow. Youngsters can pick up their wands one hour before each show.
