"D'z" Herstorical Renaissance; weekly Thursday night SHOWCASEs are privileged participation, short and sweet. It's a companion event, celebrated for it's multi-cultural & multi-genre diversity. Community-supported events include; Benefits and Tributes. On-going projects include; Jazz Retribution, vocal-collective, collaborative-artistry and music-cooperative.

"One-of-a-Kind" SHOWCASE alternates; ACOUSTIC, CABARET, (PRO) VOCALISTs / INSTRUMENTALISTs, SINGERs / SONGWRITERs, BENEFITs and TRIBUTEs. An established tradition, long-standing, on-going, every Thursday night, dinner shows. Musicians, true to the art, are supported by a patron of the arts community.

NOTE - LA's weekly pick, SHOWCASE, companion event is immediately followed by the "Numero Uno" #1-OPEN MIC / JAM featuring LA Jazz scene's best trio of accompanists, "World Class" In-House Live Jazz Trio with "World Renown Musicians". [LAST WEEK Notes] The SOS Benefit proved to be beneficial. "D" received help from Santa's Helpers, SOS's Wendy Garfinkel & (he's been a good boy) Rocket Calcutta. Big THANKS U guyz, They triangulated the Hosting chores on into the OM/J. Latin moved the house w/ Anita Robles. Victor Orlando congolero'd while she sang. Meanwhile, her friend (gifted pianist) Mahesh Balasooriya (heard of'm?) sat on his hands, listen'n. Wuz-up wit dat? (not'n2 Latin or baby it's cold outside?) "D" got a rain check. Our legendary lady, Linda Hopkins arrived late. She just caught a bit of Pro Michael Camacho's acquaintance Roberta Freeman singing. Linda holler'd, "i want to hear her sing again." Wha' ever... even Ms. Hopkins knows to make a reservation & arrive early.
