Canada is the United State's largest trading partner. The Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner with the Canada America Society to present "Doing business in Canada: an Introduction."
This luncheon will feature three businesses that have successfully built cross-border trade into their business models, and will share what they have learned in the process. Resources to support business development in Canada will also be introduced.

Walter Reese, Controller, Nucor Steel-Seattle, a division of Nucor Corporation, which is the largest steel manufacturer in the United States, has served the Western Canadian market for decades. Today the Canadian market plays a significant role in Nucor Steel Seattle's on-going success. In addition, Nucor Corporation has a significant presence in the Canadian market through its Harris Rebar fabrication group. Canada has and will continue to play a key role in Nucor Corporation's strategic vision.
Christian Monea, CEO, Clearly LASIK. Currently, King Vision/Clearly LASIK is focusing on a full-service eye care to expand beyond just LASIK/refractive surgery. They have three locations in Canada (Victoria, Burnaby, and Edmonton). The owner, Dr. Joseph King, has a dual medical license and operates in their US and Canadian locations. He graduated from the University of British Columbia.
Jason Rummer, General Manager, 1-800-GOT-JUNK, which is a Canada based franchise. It is the fastest growing franchise in the US.
