Time: Level One: 7pm – 8pm / Level Two: 8pm – 9pm
Location: PawsWay Pet Discovery Centre, 245 Queens Quay West (at Harbourfront Centre)

Learn to dance with your dog from International award-winning musical freestyler, choreographer, teacher and trainer, Cassandra Hartman, owner of Cassandra's Canines Dog Training.

Requirement: All participants must have completed a basic obedience course.

Level One Outline:

Attention and focus from dog utilizing clicker
Basic movement and flow, heeling both sides, movement to music
Teaching dog body positions in relation to handler, floor, at level, etc
DanceFit basics such as spinning, weaving, switching sides, circles, bowing
'Cool moves' including crawling, click stick targeting, balancing
Level Two Outline:

Fine-tuning of attention and focus utilizing clicker
Movement to music with transitional moves such as weaving and spinning
DanceFit intermediate moves, developing hind quarter awareness and moves such as backing up, jumping, proper training techniques
More 'Cool moves' including distance work, building confidence at a distance with basic obedience moves
