DNA Test Fest 2008 July 25, 2008

On July 25 and 26, University of Maryland's DNA in the DNA radio show (88.1 FM) will host its first annual DNA Test Fest, a weekend-long showcase of untapped, buzz-worthy bands in the American art rock and noise music scenes. The festival will be held at WMUC Studios at University of Maryland's College Park campus. Vendors will also be on site to sell artwork, rare LPs and other punk rock merchandise.

The festival will begin at 6 p.m. on both days and will last until 2 a.m. All performances will be broadcast live on 88.1 FM and on www.wmucradio.com and will be instantly podcast for easy downloading.

The event is free and open to the public.
