Join me at Darkroom for the second annual DJ LA*Jesus Birthday Benefit! Once again I am working with my friends at Rock For Kids to make my birthday celebration a special event benefiting underprivileged kids here in Chicago. In order to make for a divine summer kick-off party, I have enlisted Chi-town dance party faves Walter Meego to perform both live and dj sets... as well as Life During Wartime and Prime Time Of Your Life co-founding deejay Bald Eagle. Lipschitz, a charismatic up-and-coming emcee, brings his positive rhymes and uplifting vibes, video artist Galina Shevchenko will provide visual delights, and, of course there will be a special performance by yours truly.

I'm thrilled to be presenting you with the opportunity not only to help celebrate my birthday... and not just to catch a few of the Chicago hottest acts... but to also support the important cause of providing less fortunate children the chance to have music education in their lives - a chance they wouldn't otherwise be afforded.
