On Saturday, June 14th, Pink is proud to present the return of DJ Halo, with a special opening set by Prismatic Tracks’ Andrew Phelan.

Halo has been involved with dance music since he got his first job at Chicago's Hip House Records at the age of 9. Naturally progressing into the world of the DJ at age 12, Halo was soon a Chicago favorite even though he wasn't old enough to get into the clubs. Later, working A&R for Moody records led Halo to connect with Hipp-e, and the H-Foundation was established. The duo went on the world wide acclaim with a series of releases and performances together, culminating in their “Environments” album. Since their amicable split to pursue different music directions, Halo has continued to produce and DJ as an ambassador of deep house music. Working out of Las Vegas, Halo’s productions and collaborations have landed him on labels such as Large, Bluem, Lotus, Doubledown, and his own imprint, City Deep Music, in addition to a hectic globe trotting DJ schedule.

Since moving from Chicago in 2001, Andrew Phelan has quickly made his mark on San Francisco. From his monthly residencies at Pink, Harlot and Vessel, to his extremely popular Tonal afterhours parties, Andrew can be heard laying down his infectious mix of deep, soulful, funky, and tech based house music every week in the city. As a resident of Thump Radio, he has been heard on Alice 97.3 in SF, KBIG 104.3 in LA, and nationwide on XM Satellite Radio. Just as comfortable in the studio as behind the decks, Andrew has put out releases on some of the most respected labels in house, including Drop Music, Amenti, Eight-Tracks, So Sound, and his own label, Prismatic Tracks. Working out of SF’s famed Moulton Studios complex, Andrew has collaborated with local musicians such as Origami, Sen-Sei, and Audio Angel, who can often be found accompanying him live during his sets.
