Diyarbakir Yenisehir Children's Chorus October 3, 2007

Fourteen members of the Kurdish and Youth Music Group are coming to San Francisco World Music Festival this year. Currently living in Diyarbakir (Amed), they are coming directly to SF for their only premier performances in the Bay Area. They are 14 girls and boys from ages 8 to 16.

This is an amazing and committed group of young people singing in their native Kurdish, plus in Armenian, Hebrew, Assyrian and Russian to a total of eight languages.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear this phenomenal group of young singers and musicians.
