With roots in African spirituality and a rich history, Spirituals and Gospel Music incorporates prominent themes of water imagery, transformation, depth, and transcendence. KTSU on-air radio personality Sheldon Nunn will take us on a journey that will explore these themes, with musical selections that will demonstrate how these styles have changed over hundreds of years...yet the core beliefs, strengths, and values remain intact with each new interpretation.
