The Divas are back!

Kepler’s Youth Department invites you to join us for Diva Night 2009. A new season of exciting children’s books is upon us, which is always cause for celebration. Led by Kepler's Children’s Book Buyer, Antonia Squire, reps from the major publishers will share their top picks and sneak peaks for the upcoming season.

This year we also have a special guest. Phillip Done, local teacher and author of Close Encounters of the Third-Grade Kind: Thoughts on Teacherhood will speak about his experiences as an educator in the Bay Area.

Arrive early for brilliant conversation, lively mingling, prolific brainstorming, and of course, delicious food and our signature DIVATINIS!

Drinks, food and mingling at 5:00 p.m.

Presentation begins at 5:30 p.m.

Diva-lightful raffles will be held after the evening’s presentation.

Friends and colleagues welcome.

I've read this three times and I still don't understand why Kepler's Youth Department is hosting something called Diva Night. Is this a reference to High School Musical or are you expecting a lot of transsexuals to attend?
