Ditched by Kate is an alternative rock band that exploded on the Washington DC scene in 2010. They have been winning over crowds with their unique blend of emotion filled lyrics and melodic riffs that can sway from blues to grunge to driving rock. Each musician has spent a lifetime honing their own style which come together to craft memorable songs that audiences respond to. After a year of constant shows and launching their five song CD Stumble, they are back in the studio writing and recording songs for their first full length album.

Clean creases of paper meet in the center, folding together to create a simple paper airplane. With the right care and construction, success may follow allowing it to cut and glide through the air. Without proper attention to the assembly, a destructive crash may follow, further accentuated by the simple steps of passers by, crushing all its potential.

This same careful construction has been applied to Washington D.C. based alternative rock band "Big Paper Airplanes." With a warm and engaging sound, BPA released their first EP "Under Blue Skies" in January 2011. Drawing influence from U2, The Smiths, 30 Seconds to Mars and Coldplay, the band combines lyrics and music rooted in personal experience. With a mixture of reality, relationships, love and loss, BPA projects a truthful sound to their music with passion masked behind each individual word of their lyrics.

Irresponsible is a group of friends and musicians who are as close to brothers as people from different mothers can get. The 3-piece rock group is comprised of TJ Rogers (drums), Ben Jammin Dickey (bass) and Ryan Paladino (guitar, vocals).

The band draws its influence from many things, both musical and non-musical: 311, Jimi Hendrix, Incubus, the Beatles, Stone Temple Pilots, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dream Theater, Alice in Chains, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Coheed and Cambria, Nirvana, Tom Petty, the Who, friends, family, lovers, hope, frustration, happiness, desire, education, freedom, captivity, sex, ambition, disappointment, success, peace, war, the internal, the external, and everything else that keeps the wheels of the world spinning.

Life | Art | Love was recorded and mixed over a 6-month period of focused energy and dedication during the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010. The final product is something the band is very excited to share with the public and with those who are already thirsty for fresh Irresponsible material.
