Discovery Science Center Science Series in Mission Viejo October 29, 2008

Two classes presented by the Discovery Science Center, to be held in Mission Viejo.



Cow Eye Dissection
10:00 am
Designed for grades 3-8
Perform an eye dissection guided by trained Science Center staff. Students will compare the cow eye to the human eye while examining the parts of the eye and their functions.



Pig Heart Dissection
11:00 am
Designed for grades 5-8
Conduct a heart dissection guided by trained Science Center staff. Students will compare the pig heart to the human heart while mapping the chambers of the heart and tracing the blood’s pathway through the circulatory system.
