Feel the need to learn more about your family's past? Did you always want to create a family tree but there were just too many branches missing?

Join us on June 18th as we uncover the mystery of family history; how to go about starting a search? Which questions do we need to ask? What tools are available to us?

We will conduct a beginner's workshop on genealogy and find out about ways to unearth a family story.

HIAS History and Family Location expert, Valery Bazarov, will share the wealth of information acquired by the organization throughout its 126 years of rescue, resettlement and reunion of Jews and other migrants.

HIAS Young Leaders and 3GNY, two dynamic groups of Jewish young professionals who are curious about their roots, invite you to join us as we take our first steps in this very special, personal journey of discovery.
