Discover Your Heart of Harts - Adoptive/Foster support October 27, 2009

Custer Road United Methodist Church will host the Heart Gallery of North Texas, a photographic exhibit of local children in foster care waiting to be adopted by “forever” families, at the church, located at 6601 Custer Road, October 25 – November 1.
The Heart Gallery of North Texas is a unique photographic journey designed to raise awareness of hundreds of children waiting for loving adoptive families. The beautiful portraits in this exhibit motivate people to become involved in the lives of these children.
Although those in the foster care system are looking for families, anyone can help these children through various volunteer opportunities. The exhibit includes an informational seminar on Tuesday, October 27, from 7 – 9pm. Those considering adopting or becoming foster parents as well as those hoping to support children in foster care through volunteer opportunities should attend.
