“If you are in the market for delightful decorator finds and wonderful one-of-a-kind antiques and collectibles, visit The Winter Antiques Sale where you can visit a large selection of hand-picked vendors exclusive to Sherway Gardens,” states Peter Sutherland, show producer.

The Winter Antiques Sale, Toronto’s largest winter antiques show, offers thousands of fabulous antiques and collectibles. Fans of vintage fashion will love exploring the racks of retro clothing offered by top Toronto vendors that fills 2,000 square feet in Sherway Square. From Parisian armoires to up-market country pine, discerning buyers can browse for unique antique furniture and accessories and discover a variety of decorator items from whimsical east coast folk art to classic architectural items. The show also offers a rare opportunity to visit vendors from Montreal, Ottawa and western Ontario all under one roof.

“This year’s Winter Antiques Sale features a brand new layout that will offer visitors intriguing new vantage points from which to glimpse the enticing stock,” says Sutherland.

The Winter Antiques Sale features a wide selection of vendors including:
• A fabulously French mix from former Parisian auctioneers Philippe and Anne Pallafray.
• An eclectic mix of decorator delights from Kingston’s Cellar Door.
• Glamorous retro designer fashion finds from Montreal’s Poirier and Schweitzer.
• Fun flea market finds from Niagara-on-the-Lakes “Sylvia’s Antiques”

“It’s all about finding the very best elements that artisans have created over the years and integrating them seamlessly into modern day life to make a statement of individuality and personal style,” adds Sutherland. “Our customers know the inherent value and quality of buying products that have withstood the test of time.“

Sutherland points to the following examples:
• The stylish lines Gustav Stickley’s furniture have been copied – but never improved upon.
• The peculiarly brilliant sparkle in Gustave Sherman’s jewellery has never been matched.
• The time aged patina on original pine furniture is far superior to modern methods of crude “factory aging”.

Don’t miss Toronto’s favourite “vintage living” shopping event that packs in over a kilometre of inventory and features free admission and free parking.
