Following a nearly decade-long apprenticeship in their native Japan, Dir en grey rocked American amphitheaters during Korn's Family Values Tour, and held their own alongside the likes of Korn and the Deftones. They have also performed around the globe with Green Day, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden and Marilyn Manson. Clearly, this group is eager to take their music to as many fans as possible. In a statement, the band says, "We wish to tour and play live as much as possible, for as long as we are able to." Dir en grey's fifth album, the sinister 'Withering To Death,' was released in March 2006.
