Robert Majzels:
He is an experimental writer who has published 4 novels, 1 play and several translations which have won prizes, including the Governor-General's Award for the translation of French-Canadian novelist, France Daigle. His last novel, THE HUMBUGS DIET, is a philosophical detective story set in an old folks home in Yonkers, New York. Robert is currently associate professor of Creative Writing at the University of Calgary. He was born in Montréal and is the son of Holocaust survivors.

Claire Huot bout herself:
I have just published THE PRISON TANGRAM, a detective novel set in Burlington, Vermont; in a reform campus-style prison for women. My detective is, like me, trilingual --English, French, and Mandarin Chinese. My novel is presently #1 bestseller at Pages in Kensington. I'm a sinologist who specializes in contemporary Chinese culture. I'm currently teaching China-related courses at the Unversity of Calgary.
