We could listen to bossa nova beats all night. It's even sweeter when you've got pinstripe-aproned Brazilians serving you up hearty, home-style meals at the same time. Feijoada comes correct, rich and smoky, with cassava flour and collard greens on the side. Fish stews and mom's chicken soup for warming up norte nights. Long tiled bar cranks out fresh caipirinhas and caipiroskas. Good-sized space, with room for live music up front. Amber-shaded dining platform in the middle, main tables in back. Grown-up enough for pre-theater, not much "new trend" about it.
