Dilli 6 - A Photojournalistic Journey - Photography Workshop. The Fuschia Tree launches a photojournalistic journey Dilli 6, a celebration of the old and new, the raw and refined, the hot and cold and all those things that make Delhi the space that it is - dear to those who live in it and a mystery to those who come to visit. Dilli 6 has been conceptualized to include 6 journeys that aim to represent the very essence of what makes Delhi. A photographer with repertoire and style will lead a small, focused group of like-minded people who are passionate to explore an aspect of Delhi through two onsite' sessions and two studio sessions. The group will learn and share various aspects of photography and improve their overall skill to capture the moments which their eyes rejoice. On completion of each workshop, a selected number of art works photographed by the participants, will be curated by the leader of the workshop, along with the art advisory panel at the Fushcia Tree work which will then be exhibited at The Fuschia Tree gallery and published in a catalogue. All six workshops will then culminate into an exhibition at the end November, where curated artworks by the various participants and a selection of photographs by the various leaders will be exhibited in a first ever series of photojournalistic photographs thematically and conceptually based on Delhi. Dilli 6 has been conceptualized to cover 6 aspects that truly represent the very essence of Delhi. From its history, culture, food, fashion and weather, all six journeys will be envisioned by a panel of leading photographers, who come along with a profile of repertoire and style. They aim to inspire their groups and will help us re-discover Delhi through a body of imagery that they will envision through the group they represent.
