Designed to be used together, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop create a powerful combination for working with photographic images. While Lightroom's impressive system allows you to organize your images and quickly make adjustments to each, Photoshop offers infinite editing capabilities that can take your images to the next level.

Perfect for both beginners and those with limited experience in one program or the other, this course will break down how the two programs are most effective when used together to create a cohesive and efficient workflow. From memory card all the way to print, students will learn how to efficiently work with images between the two programs–harnessing the differing strengths of both in order to take each image to its fullest potential.

We will start out using Lightroom to import our images and sort them into an easily manageable catalog, keeping us organized and efficient. We will then utilize Lightroom's developing capabilities to quickly and easily adjust the exposure, contrast, and color of our images.

But why stop there? Bringing our images from Lightroom into Photoshop, we will take our images to the next level. We will cover the tools exclusive to Photoshop including adjustment layers, smart objects, selections, layer masks, and compositing. From here, the student will be able to fine-tune their images to mach their vision. As the final step in our workflow, we will learn to output images for various purposes such as printing, emails, slide shows, and websites.
