Digital Photography - Summer Intensive August 6, 2012

Want to explore the fundamentals of digital photography in a short, intensive course?

This accelerated class is introduction to the basics, including the aesthetic possibilities of digital photography. Students will be encouraged to use the camera as an expressive tool as they develop an understanding of the technical and creative aspects of the medium.

Topics will include techniques of proper exposure; principles of composition; and understanding the use of light. Because image processing and printing will be done with the use of a computer, students should have basic computer skills.

Optional museum and gallery visits will be planned. While these are not mandatory, students are highly encouraged to attend.
