In photographic terms, a landscape is an expanse of scenery that can be seen in a single view. Although this sounds simple enough, knowing a few important camera settings and compositional elements will help add strength to your landscapes. Join naturalist and photographer, Bob Speare for a study of winter landscapes. After a brief time indoors, we'll head outdoors to locate, discuss, and photograph winter landscapes across the sanctuary. Among topics discussed will be lighting, depth of field, white balance, ISO, and various compositional techniques. Bring a lunch, a tripod if you have one and dress for the weather. Registration is required. Call 781-837-9400 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=1017-SS11WI1 for more information.
