As part of the Enterprising Barnsley Project, bmedia would like to invite you to a presentation on 'Digital 20/20 what it means for you' that we are holding on Tuesday 9th March 2010 from 11.30am to 2.00pm at the BBIC Innovation Way, Wilthorpe, Barnsley, S75 1JL.


Guest Speakers David Holt (CEO, Digital Region Ltd) and David Kay (Digital 20/20) will provide:



· An Introduction to the service and roll out plans
· Impact on your business
· Opportunities arising, including 'next generation' services, 3D and interactive imaging.
· Examine three important Digital 20/20 partnership projects.


Everyone is welcome, lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Biography - David Holt; Chief Executive Officer, Digital Region Limited
David Holt is the Chief Executive Officer for Digital Region Limited. David is responsible for providing executive leadership, policy, delivering on business objectives, and exploiting the new technology of the Digital Region network to create real benefits for communities in South Yorkshire.
David has a long and distinguished career as an ambassador for next generation networks in the global telecommunications market.
David is committed to align people, process and technology to improve efficiency and secure new business opportunity.
Biography - David Kay; Strategic Development Director, Digital 20/20
David Kay spent 22 years in the IT and e-learning sectors, working with Fretwell-Downing and the Tribal Group, before co-founding Sero Consulting in 2002.
Sero specialises in the application of digital technology, employing 26 consultants and researchers with particular expertise in education, skills, regeneration and digital inclusion.
Sero runs Digital 20/20 programme (www.digital2020.org.uk) on behalf of Yorkshire Forward and regional partners.
