Mobile advertising is for real, money will be made and winners will emerge. That's a reliable prediction. And mobile advertising will find itself increasingly relevant as it works its way into many different types of content, from banners, text trailers, mobile video, LBS, and even worked its way into voice recently.

With the downgrading of banners, the future advertising successes will increasingly depend on context, and a mobile phone is a great device for surmising the "presence" state of users. The Telecom Council doesn't think Mobile Advertising is a pot of gold, nor do we think it will make mobile video viable in its current incarnation, but it will be a revenue stream that subsidizes content and mobile telecom services.

Mobile advertising has been riding the Gartner Hype Cycle for some time now. It's gone up over the peak, hit the trough, and we believe it's now onto the path of productivity. Join us to discuss how to do mobile advertising right and to see if you can make money in this segment yet.

This meeting will bring speakers and participants with expertise in:
* Mobile advertising infrastructure
* Location-based advertising
* Tradition and online advertising
* The wireless carrier's perspective
* The mobile advertising value chain
* And, as always, plenty of startup and demos

This meeting is free to members or $200 for non-members. A membership option will be available during the registration process for this event.
