Third Screening of 7 of our summer of murderous fun-all double bills-all on the BIG Screen
WILD AND WITTY
Miss Grant Takes Richmond 1949 dir. Llyod Bacon with Lucille Ball, William Holden
Absolutely hilarious-a young Lucy manages to get a job with a real estate business despite not having any secretarial skills (well she did have good gams). Will Holden be able to run his bookie business behind the scenes while innocent Lucy minds the front or will things just go terribly, terribly wrong.
The Man From the Diner's Club 1963 dir. Frank Taslin with Danny Kaye, Martha Hyer
A wild bit of 60s slapstick. Inept employee (Kaye) makes out an application for a gangster who would prefer to remain discreet while he escapes the country.
Free screening notes. Wild raffle.
$80.00 for full 7 double bills or call for more information 416 363-7222
