Diane Ackerman, presented by Seattle Arts & Lectures November 19, 2007

Diane Ackerman brings poetry to science and scientific insight to her poems. Guggenheim Fellow and Lavan Poetry Prize winner, she is known for lyrical nonfiction, A Natural History of the Senses and An Alchemy of the Mind. Ackerman also writes nature books for children.
