Duranguense singer Diana Reyes was raised in Puerto de la Paz in Baja California. Her musical career started early, performing in local festivals and giving concerts while most of her peers were in the first grade. At eight she recorded her first norteno record, featuring the singles 'Barrios y Escuela' and 'Cristo Rey.' Reyes' hits include 'La Joya Nortena,' 'Querida Socia,' 'Rosas,' 'El Sol No Regresa' and 'Como una Mariposa.'
