Dialogue with Artist: Aurora Robson October 18, 2009

NYFA fellow and accomplished artist Aurora Robson will show images and discuss her working process, technique and inspiration at The Educational Alliance Art School’s “Dialogue with Artist: AURORA ROBSON” event & workshop. Robson turns the simplest and ugliest detritus into profoundly beautiful objects and installations. She is comfortable in both sculpture and two-dimensional work.

Following the lecture presentation, Robson will lead a 60-minute hands-on workshop on making collage from junk mail. Bring your own junk mail!

Aurora Robson is a 2009 Artists’ Fellowship recipients of the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA). The presentation is co-sponsored by Artists & Audiences Exchange, a public program of NYFA.
