Día de Los Muertos November 1, 2008

The Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) is a holiday celebrated mainly in Mexico and by people of Mexican heritage (and others) living in the United States and Canada. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and relatives who have died.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Procession, School Mural Project (display on Courthouse Square), Community Altar Display, Papel Picado Decoration Station, Food Vendors, Skull Cookie decorating, Aztec Dancers, Los Viejos Dancers, Live Music and more!
