Napalm Death attained legendary status for their debut album 'Scum' (1987), which is considered to have started a truly violent revolution within the world of extreme music. Although the band has undergone line-up changes ever since then, they still provide what has been described as a furious mix of highly aggressive metal and agitational hardcore/punk fitted with social criticism.
