Over 50 years ago a small group of high-minded curators and
salesmen succeeded in making the term “good design” synonymous
with modernism. Dwell Magazine editor Aaron Britt pushes back
against the now ubiquitous locution, shedding light on “good
design’s” historical context, the values it entails and its fascinating
lexicographic back-story.

Before coming to Dwell he worked as a freelance writer and as the
Researcher/Reporter for William Safire’s On Language column in the
New York Times Magazine.
