No matter how familiar with or foreign to the desert you are, there is always something new to learn in the garden. A personal backyard oasis with lush vegetation and natural beauty can be yours with the help of Westward Look Resort’s Xeriscaping Class. The class will be held the second Friday of each month through May. Come out and learn how to create a gorgeous desert garden!
Xeriscaping is a style of landscaping that incorporates design principles and plants that conserve water, generally utilizing plants that are native to the area. The class costs $5 per person and includes a take-home workbook. Classes will take place Friday, March 12, April 9 and May 14 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
