Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade March 15, 2008

The Bellco Credit Union Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade will be on Saturday, March 15th, 2008, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. One of the best and largest in the U.S.A., it includes floats, clowns, pipe and traditional Irish bands, Irish step dancers, veterans groups, equestrian and animal units, El Jebel Shriners, and much more. More than 200 entries and 10,000 people will participate. It is estimated that more than 200,000 people were in attendance on St. Patrick's Day 2007. Everyone wants to be Irish on St. Patrick's Day!
The parade is organized and produced by an all-volunteer committee of approximately 300 members. The committee also conducts a Queen Colleen coronation ball in February, two publicity pub crawls and several other functions throughout the year. The Parade Committee supports ten or more local charitable causes, helping up to maintain our non-profit status and contributing to the Denver community.
