Dennis Russell Davies and Maki Namekawa, Pianists April 19, 2009

The keyboard duo of Dennis Russell Davies and Maki Namekawa have performed in a variety of venues throughout the world. Cofounder of the American Composers Orchestra, Davies is chief conductor of the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, the Bruckner Orchestra Linz and the Linz Opera and has guest conducted with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Gewandhaus Orchestra and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. Namekawa has displayed her pianistic versatility with frequent performances at major venues and festivals in Germany and Japan. For this performance they will be playing West Side Story.
