The Investor - Roy Shelton - DropJawVentures


Roy Shelton has spent the last 22 years building international technology and telecoms businesses including Prime Carrier, Azure Solutions & Cerebrus. Working with government, senior industry and investment communities around the world, Roy has gained a reputation as an early evangelist of the emerging technologies that evolve to lead their field. DropJaw Ventures Limited founded by Roy is an early stage Investor into emerging and aspiring technology companies. DropJawVentures have invested into Next2Friends and Custos, and currently looking for other investment opportunities. Roy has seen his investment into Next2Friends risen up by 10 fold over the last 12 months, when the latest investor valued the company at $25 million.



Entrepreneur - Robert Wakeling - Wadaro


Robert has over 20 years of hands-on industrial experience featuring various senior management positions and years of corporate development and governance. Robert has provided strong thought leadership and continues to be a strong analyst of future trends in wireless technologies. Robert founded Wadaro 2 years ago and successfully raised seedcorn funding from regional venture capital market. He is currently negotiating the next round - Series A.



Corporate Lawyer - Stuart Scott-Goldstone - Aaron & Partners


Stuart Scott-Goldstone is Head of the Corporate/Commercial Team at Aaron & Partners LLP, a commercial law firm with offices in Manchester and Chester. Stuart specialises in corporate finance transactions and has advised both investors and companies on a large number of early stage and start up investments in the North West, particular those involving regional venture capital funds.
