Denish Named Democratic Woman Politician of the Year, Duran Named Emerging Democratic Woman Leader

Lt. Governor Diane D. Denish and EspaƱola City Councilor Danielle Duran will be honored at an awards ceremony and dinner on Tuesday, December 4, for their contributions to New Mexico politics. The Democratic Woman Politician of the Year and Emerging Democratic Woman Leader awards are conferred by EmergeNewMexico, the state affiliate of the national organization that inspires, recruits and trains Democratic women to run for public office. New Mexico Supreme Court Justice Pamela Minzer will be honored posthumously.
